This is an email sent to NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS director Eliza Hittman (misnaming her) by an Oscar-winning Academy member detailing his refusal to watch her film

Marvel fans know what's up with that last episode of #WandaVision. Here's what you can learn from the books.
Made my @consequence debut, discussing the latest #WandaVision post-credits scene, its link to the comics, and what it means for Vision. Spoilers ahead!
This kind of lazy, condescending, obstinate communication from an Oscars voter to a prospective nominee should be grounds for their immediate removal from the Academy. It embarrasses the entire membership.

Trying to catch up on some of the mainstream films from last year that I missed. #NowWatching Bill & Ted Face the Music.
At least we'll always have the Tron: Legacy score. #daftpunk
Replying to @sianharries_: You know in The Shining when Jack Nicholson keeps typing ‘All work and no play’ and he goes insane? Yeah that

The brand new issue of Film Stories magazine - issue 23 - is back from the printers next week. Available for preorder now - and it leads with the brilliant @eddieizzard! More details and order a copy right here...
I love this cover. I'm in here talking to Glasgow Film CEO Allison Gardner about this year's @glasgowfilmfest. Working on Film Stories and chatting with brilliant people in the industry is always a highlight of each month.

Reminder: Michelle Pfeiffer whipped the heads off those four mannequins IN ONE TAKE to thunderous applause from the Batman Returns crew!
Even more impressive when you consider that she was basically vacuum-sealed into the catsuit.
The twists and turns if this week's #WandaVision are absolutely great. I'll admit I found the first few episodes very slow, and the sitcom stuff isn't my cup of tea, but the pace is really picking up now.
Finally, and sadly, reached the end of Star Wars: Rebels. Such a sweet ending for Zeb and Kallus, and I'm hopeful for lots of Sabine and Ezra in the Ahsoka show.

Lauren Miles (@Lauren_M1les) on WandaVision: How Wanda’s grief is making her a monster, and why it’s a problem...
I'm finding Wanda's character arc in #WandaVision to be less than ideal. Here's a piece I wrote on why it doesn't sit right with me.

I can't help but feel that #Cruella is an unnecessary film. Some backstories don't need to be told, especially if they're going the Maleficent route and making her a sympathetic anti-hero.
Today I ticked off the list a classic film I've embarrassingly never seen before. I can see why Suspiria is held in such high regard, and even enjoyed the sometimes crazy, sometimes brilliant score.

It's Nic Cage versus animatronic foes. What else do you need? Lauren_M1les reviews Willy's Wonderland.
I had a lot of fun reviewing Willy's Wonderland for @CouncilofZoom. I cannot recommend it enough, purely for Nic Cage's performance.
I absolutely loved Willy's Wonderland, mainly because of mute Nic Cage being able to turn anything into a weapon.
