The pandemic has left many feeling isolated, but for victims of forced marriage, it has left them feeling almost invisible to authorities.
Charities warn hundreds of cases may have gone undetected, with some victims trapped at home with their abusers...
Fantastic to see that child marriage is now illegal in the Dominican Republic! There is much work to do to change patriarchal mindsets and create real life opportunities for girls, but this is an important step - time for the UK to follow suit. @IKWRO
A real privilege to get a #HOPE calendar delivered to my house. @Hopetraining you are a star 🌟 I absolutely love it & this work that features so many women I admire @docadisa, @HiboWardere, Ngozi - @Sistah_Space @natashamanota, Diana - @IKWRO & many more ❤️
@SophieRunning @GraziaUK I've been working with @SarahChampionMP, @KNFMHBV, @IKWRO and others to end child marriage in the UK. The campaign attracted a lot of publicity late last year and could really benefit from Grazia's attention. Let me know if this would interest you!
At home shouldn’t mean at risk. If you or someone you know is suffering from #DomesticAbuse, isolation rules do not apply.

@IKWRO - Women's Rights Organisation sent funds to provide food and essentials for migrant women with no recourse to public funds. Would be great to reach £10K by end of this brutal year so that more 'by and for' specialist services can be supported.
